About BEN

BEN provides many proven opportunities for networking and building your business – without unnecessary rules and regulations.

THE BASICS

What You Need to Know About BEN

Membership is limited to one person per profession or business classification. That means you have the opportunity to represent yourself as the exclusive voice of your industry. You can educate members – and through them their contacts and referrals – about the kind of work you do and the specific BENefits you provide. If you have multiple businesses or provide a variety of services, and one or more conflicts with an existing member, you may still be able to participate in BEN provided you do not promote the conflicting service(s). A decision will be made on a case-by-case basis by the membership committee.

Attendance at a minimum of 8 lunch meetings a year is required to retain your position as the exclusive representative of your business or professional classification. We recommend you make the effort to attend as many meetings as possible. The more meetings you attend, the more opportunities you will have to develop relationships, expand your contacts, spread the word about your business, grow your connections network and gain referrals.

Meetings are held on the 2nd Thursday of each month from 12:00 PM-1:45 PM. Members can remain after the formal program for additional networking and/or meetings with members. Most meetings in 2021 will be held at II Villaggio Restaurant in Cherry Hill. However, currently due COVID ALL MEETING ARE VIRTUAL VIA ZOOM.

One-to-One Meetings or Small Groups are an opportunity to really get to know other members, learn how you can support each, make strong connections, share resources, and grow your business. Strong relationships create strong businesses, and this is what differentiates us from other networking organizations. Our members develop both personal and professional relationships with each other and are committed to each other’s business growth as well as our own. We expect that members schedule at least one, one-to-one or small group meeting a month.

Referrals are encouraged but are not mandatory. As you get to know members, and they get to know you, the referrals will come. The goals are to get to know your fellow BEN members and generate quality, qualified referrals and leads. It’s important to remember people do business with those they know, like and trust.

BEN is an intimate group of professionals that interact as Friends and Family.
For us, it is more than just business … it’s our relationships that drive our business.
